Over at Planet RDF” there have been two responses to a post proposing to get rid of RDF in Mozilla 2.0 (which corresponds to Firefox 4.0).
As the Planet RDF posts state, the main problem with RDF support in Mozilla currently is that it’s old and ugly. Being part of a rather large semantic web prototyping team at IBM, I found it rather disburbing that one of the major browsers would move further away from a semantic web by removing basic support from its inner libraries.
Fortunately, a sneak preview in Pike’s blog shows that the new API will be a great step towards remedying that problem.
